In 1999 Sune lived with his then girlfriend in a flat in Nørrebro, Copenhagen. When the girl moved in, the plant was given to them by her parents as a housewarming gift. Sune soon experienced that keeping a relationship together when you are young isn't always easy, and in 2000 the girlfriend decided that their relationship was over and that she would move out. To begin with she packed a bag and moved to a friend. One night when she came to get the rest of her stuff they had a bad fight. After yelling and screaming at each other for an hour or so, the girl angrily smacked the door and left the place. Sune was now alone in the flat getting really frustrated, so he started to throw some of her stuff after her out of the window. At first he threw all kinds of small girlfriend-stuff such as tampons and sanitary-towels, but it was just as if it wasn't dramatic enough for his broken heart. After all it is Sune's first real love we are talking about. So he looked around for some heavier stuff to throw, and there was the plant. He grabbed it and out it went, three floors down. Of course he made sure he didn't hit her, but he wanted it to look as if... Next morning coming out of the house the pavement was a complete mess. In the middle of tampons and sanitary-towels was the poor plant completely smashed. Sune couldn't help but picking the plant up and bringing it back to the flat. It was given a brand new pot, and has been staying in the same living room ever since. By the way, the ex-girlfriend and Sune are still very good friends. A cutting from the plant is now for sale in the Vintage Plant market.
