Tessa says:
"A part of the plant was handed over to me at school during a lesson at my school- The Norwegian University of Life Sciences, on how important it is to be surrounded by plants both outside and in your indoor environment. Our teacher had taken the shoot from a plant that is now placed in a meeting room in the plant department at school. It arrived there in the late 1970's and was potted in one of the first pots with an automatic watering system. It is still placed in that today and obviously the system works fine. Unfortunately the employeed that brought the plant is no longer among us, so it was hard to track it any further. The cutting I got is now placed by my bed and has grown very big over the last three years. Last summer when I painted the wall it was out on the balcony and got sunburned so that some of the leves fell off. Otherwise it has been treated very well and is in good condition. It has been treated very well and is in very good condition. It has now reached at least 4 meters."

Care: The plant likes it in the sun (not midday) but also like halfshade as it is placed at my home. It should'nt be watered too much, let it dry out after every watering. Feel the soil before watering. Fertilize it every month all year around and give the leaves a spray of water now and then.
